I joined CH2M in July 2008 as the sole document controls personnel for STEP. I started
out establishing the initial EDMS for the program with key responsibilities on the
configuration, implementation, uploading of files, training and monitoring of the Program’s

Online Collaboration System. I was involved in the development and implementation of
the program’s document management plan and process flows, document classification,
file folder structure and numbering convention for correspondences, documents and
drawings. I was responsible for facilitating the pre-tender to the post-tender activities of all
STEP contracts. This involved key responsibilities in the publication and receipt of
Expressions of Interest, as well as the development, issuance and status monitoring of
Pre-qualification documents, Notices of Intent, and Tender Documents. I was also
responsible in the production and submission of hundreds of program deliverables such as
Technical Memoranda and Technical Reports, Preliminary Design Reports, Pre-
qualification Evaluation Reports, Tender Evaluation Reports and several other
deliverables.
To date, I perform full duties of an Aconex Administrator within the organization which
include creating users, configuring user role settings, assigning and modifying mail
approvers, creating mail templates and auto-texts, and locking and disabling accounts of
users who leave the program. I provide a go-to Aconex support to all project participants,
and conduct training and assistance to all site DC staff, while at the same time perform
such duties of receiving, registration, generation, transmission, distribution and archiving
and handing-over of all program documentation.

Responsible in organizing and transferring of Final Technical Documentation (FTD) digital
files to the Management Information System (MIS) directory to ensure correctness of
directory structure and file names in accordance with the FTD procedures. MIS is a
database with a browser interface to access project data documentation, e.g. equipment
data, spare parts data, operation & maintenance manuals, drawings, etc.

Responsible in the coordination, expedition compilation and submission of Supplier
Documentation (written or diagrammatic information containing project related data under
a provision by a supplier of all technical, quality and instructional documentation,

Responsible for processing purchase request or call-off request from different
departments such as requesting quotations from approved vendors and evaluating which
quotation best meets the company’s policy and regulation before proceeding to place a
purchase order. Monitor the receipt of all Purchase Requests and their progress within
the section. Receive discrepancy reports and assign them to the expediter for action, and
monitor the progress of critical items. Assist the Document Controls Centre and Package
Engineers in the preparation and approval of a Supplier Master Documentation List
(SMDL) for Permanent Materials. Such documentation listed in SMDL is required upon
delivery of such materials. Ensure the coordination of all administrative activities within the

department by continuous interface with all concerned personnel. Maintain records in the
department and administer the functions of document distribution, filing and archiving.
Maintain records showing which orders are being expedited, the progress of each order
and the actions taken to maintain or improve upon delivery.
