RON stands for Research Octane Number and measures a fuel's resistance to knocking in spark-ignition engines. RON95 and RON97 are the two main types of petrol in Malaysia. RON97 has higher octane content, making combustion more efficient and emissions lower. It is better for the environment compared to RON95 due to more complete combustion and lower emissions and fuel consumption. Malaysia changed fuel standards from Euro 2M to Euro 4M to reduce exhaust emissions and improve air quality by lowering sulphur content in fuels.

Biogas as Alternate Fuel in Diesel Engines: A Literature ReviewIOSR Journals
Bio fuels derived from biomass are considered as good alternative to petroleum fuels. Biogas, a
biomass derived fuel can be used in internal combustion (IC) engines, because of its better mixing ability with
air and clean burning nature. Biogas is produced by anaerobic digestion of various organic substances such as
kitchen wastes, agricultural wastes, municipal solid wastes, cow dung etc., which offers low cost and low
emissions than any other secondary fuels. It can be a supplemented to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and
compressed natural gas (CNG), if it is used in compressed form in cylinders. This paper reviews the current
status and perspectives of biogas production, including the purification & storage methods and its engine
applications. Lower hydrocarbon (HC), smoke and particulates emission has been reported in diesel engines
operating on biogas diesel dual fuel mode. Here through detailed literature review, the combustion
characteristics of biogas in I.C engines are investigated.

Have you ever wondered how search works while visiting an e-commerce site, internal website, or searching through other types of online resources? Look no further than this informative session on the ways that taxonomies help end-users navigate the internet! Hear from taxonomists and other information professionals who have first-hand experience creating and working with taxonomies that aid in navigation, search, and discovery across a range of disciplines.
This presentation, created by Syed Faiz ul Hassan, explores the profound influence of media on public perception and behavior. It delves into the evolution of media from oral traditions to modern digital and social media platforms. Key topics include the role of media in information propagation, socialization, crisis awareness, globalization, and education. The presentation also examines media influence through agenda setting, propaganda, and manipulative techniques used by advertisers and marketers. Furthermore, it highlights the impact of surveillance enabled by media technologies on personal behavior and preferences. Through this comprehensive overview, the presentation aims to shed light on how media shapes collective consciousness and public opinion.

0x01 - Newton's Third Law: Static vs. Dynamic AbusersOWASP Beja
f you offer a service on the web, odds are that someone will abuse it. Be it an API, a SaaS, a PaaS, or even a static website, someone somewhere will try to figure out a way to use it to their own needs. In this talk we'll compare measures that are effective against static attackers and how to battle a dynamic attacker who adapts to your counter-measures.

2. WHAT IS RON?
RON stands for Research Octane Number
A rating used to measure a fuels knocking resistance in
spark-ignition internal combustion engines.
Knocking is what happens when parts or all of the air-
fuel mixture prematurely ignites before the flame from
the spark plug can reach it.
This can be caused by ignition timing that is too early or
engine overheating.
3. Basically RON is the grade of petrol capabilities against
abnormal combustion and generate energy at the
proper time during the burning process.
Highest grade Ron does not guarantee a good efficiency
of the vehicle
4. WHAT IS EURO4M ?
Euro 4M standard for RON97 petrol. Euro 4M is adapted
from the European Union’s (EU) strict rules on fuel
standards and specifications to manage fuel quality that
have impact on the environment.
The main objective of the fuel standard upgrade is to
improve emissions for better air quality. This also has to
be done in unison with the availability of Euro 4
compliant vehicles.
5. WHY IS THERE A CHANGE FROM
EURO 2M TO EURO 4M?
The Euro 4M implementation mandated by the
Malaysian government is to reduce exhaust emissions
Lower levels of harmful exhaust emissions from motor
vehicles and thus, cleaner and better air quality
The main difference between euro 2M and euro 4M
standard fuel is the sulphur content which was
significantly reduced from 500ppm to 50ppm.
6. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
RON95 & RON97
RON95
95% containing octane
and the remaining is
pentane
Less efficient
combustion
Fast combustion
Price cheaper
Low viscosity
Suitable for carburator
Plumbum
RON97
97% containing octane
and the remaining is
pentane
More efficient
combustion
Slow combustion
Expensive price
High viscosity
Suitable for injection
engine
No plumbum
7.
8. OCTANE PROPERTIES
Octane is the ability to withstand the pressure in the
combustion chamber.
The higher octane content, it's difficult to burn octane
in your vehicle engine
10. Ron97 is the best choosen to environment
because:
Complete combustion for engine
High efficiency, lower petrol consumption
which is better for environment
Lower exhaust emission (low carbon
dioxide/ monoxide)
Does not contain plumbum which lower
probability of carbon created
11. Sulphur in fuel results in vehicles emitting
harmful pollutants during the combustion
process.
Presence hinders exhaust after-treatment
technologies from operating as they
should,
Causing further harm to our health and
environment.
