Romeo and Juliet is set in 16th century Verona, Italy and tells the story of two young lovers from feuding families, the Montagues and Capulets. Romeo, a Montague, falls in love with Juliet, a Capulet, at a ball. With the help of Friar Laurence, who hopes to end the family feud, Romeo and Juliet secretly marry. However, their love is challenged when Romeo is banished after killing Juliet's cousin Tybalt in a duel. Through a series of miscommunications, both Romeo and Juliet mistakenly believe the other is dead and end up taking their own lives to be together in the end.
