Roman Petushkov was born in 1978 in Dmitrov, Moscow region. He has engaged in sports his whole life and does not consider himself disabled. He is a two-time winner of the 2010 Paralympic Games in Vancouver, Canada and is an Honored Master of Sports of Russia. In 2010, he was awarded the Medal of the Order "For Merits Before the Fatherland" for his significant contributions to the development of physical culture and sports and his high achievements at the X Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver. Roman Petushkov has also won gold and bronze medals at the Russian Championship for athletes with locomotor disabilities.

He never considered himself disabled and for all
his life engaged in sports.
He is a two time winner of Paralympic games 2010

"sitting") and won two gold and one
bronze medal at the Championship of

Watching the reports from the competitions
in which participated Roman Petushkov,
my seven year old daughter and me
decided to go skiing and for two years now
looking forward to when the snow falls and
we can start skiing (I didn't do it as much
as 20 years). Growing up the youngest
daughter and is already trying to get up on
ski.
