This curriculum vitae summarizes the education and experience of Rolands Tjarve. He received multiple degrees including a bachelor's degree in social sciences in 1991, a master's degree in communication science in 1998, and is currently a doctoral candidate studying transformation processes of public television in post-Soviet media systems. Tjarve has extensive experience working in Latvian media and academia, including as the director of Latvian Television and as a current lecturer at the University of Latvia. He has published numerous papers on topics related to Latvian media and national identity.
