This document describes a project to create a low-cost robotic arm that can help farmers clean dust from rice. The robotic arm will use image processing and a gripper to pick rice dust and move it elsewhere. This will help farmers easily clean rice and sell it directly to buyers, saving them time and allowing them to get a fair price. The robotic arm will be designed using inexpensive materials like plastic, wood and an Arduino board so that farmers can afford it. It will demonstrate how robotics and automation can benefit society through applications like this that help individuals.
