Robin Hood lived in Sherwood Forest after losing his family's lands to the greedy Sheriff of Nottingham. He became an outlaw and robbed from the rich to give to the poor villagers who were oppressed by the Sheriff's taxes. Robin fell in love with Lady Marian but their marriage was opposed by the Sheriff. Over many chapters, Robin and his men Little John and Will Scarlet carried out daring acts of defiance against the Sheriff through clever tricks and battles in the forest and helped people in need. In the end, King Richard returned Robin's lands and named him Robin of Locksley, but Robin was later wounded and died in the forest he loved.
