3. Robert De La Salle sailed
from Montreal through all
the great lakes except
Superior and sailed
through the Mississippi river.
He sailed into the Gulf Of
Mexico and the first one to
find the Gulf Of Mexico.
4. When De La Salle grew up, he traded along
the St. Lawrence River.
He was the first to sail to the Gulf Of Mexico.
When he was a little kid, he wanted to be a
farmer but was way more interested in fur
trading.
La Salle never got married or had any
children, but he did have a brother named
Jean, who was a Suplican Priest at a
church.
La Salle sailed with over 200 settlers, but
most of them died.
5. Robert sailed for France to try to claim
land from the Mississippi River.
He also sailed to try to find riches.
Robert wanted to be a fur trader who
traded along the St. Lawrence River.
Robert explored the all the great lakes
except the Superior.
6. Robert De La Salle found a colony that
what we now know today is Texas.
Robert died from his own men, Robert
was going to get food and his men
thought he was crazy, so his men killed
him.
