Steven Hawking’s critically acclaimed book A Brief History of Time is a breathtaking journey into our universe and ourselves. The first chapter, “Chapter 1: Our Picture of the Universe”, begins as a way to show insight into how we developed our current perspective on the universe. Throughout history, the idea of time, creation, philosophical and theological ideas, in addition to our breakthroughs in technology and scientific theory have all played a role in our understanding of the way our universe works.

3. What is Astronomy Theory ??
• In essence it is the theory of
the science of physical and
logical laws with respects to
any natural body in the sky
especially at night.
4. • There are various theories about universe given by different different
philosopher, scientist etc.
• Aristotle's Theory
• Ptolemy's Theory
• Copernican Theory
• Newton's Theory
• Edwin Hubble Theory
• Big Bang Theory
5. 1. Aristotle's Theory :
• In Metaphysics, or
the theory of the
ultimate nature of
reality,
Aristotelianism
involves belief in the
primacy of the
individual in the
realm of existence.
6. 2. Ptolemy's Theory :
• He posited that
the moon,
Mercury, Venus ,
And the sun all
revolved around
earth.
7. 3.Nicolaus Copernican Theory :
• Nicolaus Copernicus
was an astronomer
who proposed a
heliocentric system,
that the planets
orbit around the sun
; That earth is a
planet which,
besides orbiting the
sun annually.
8. 4. Newton's Theory :
• Newton's theory of
gravity predicts that the
gravitational force on
any object is
proportional to its mass.
9. 5. Edwin Hubble Theory :
• Hubble also demonstrated
that galaxies farther away
from us are receding faster
than those nearby - a
fundamental observation
now known as Hubble's
law.
10. 6. Big Bang Theory :
• The big bang theory is an
American television sitcom
created by Chuck lorre and
bill prady, both of whom
served as executive
producers on the series....
• Two Astronomers:
• 1- Johansson Kepler
• 2- Galileo Galielie
11. Conclusion
To sum up, Aristotle ptotemy, Nicholas Copernicus, Galileo, Johansson
Kepler, Newton's gravitation law and Edwin Hubble's observation that earth
was expanding provided much guidance to understand and universe in a
better way. Einstein's general theory of relativity also gave much
information to know our universe in better way.
