In Unani classical text it is most likely to be due to dominance of the
phlegmatic humour
.Waja ul mafasil results from accumulation of mawad e fasida
(morbid matter) in the mafasil (joints).This is due to zauf in quwat e
muddabir e badan (immunity) which fails to expel the morbid matter.
Unani treatment not only strengthens quwat e muddabir e badan
but also saves the body from long term side effects.
The line of treatment of RA mainly involves evacuation of morbid
matter either by ILAJ BIL GHIZA, ILAJ BID DAWA ,ILAJ BIDTADBEER.
