This video link is a part from the documentary where they are illustrating what is going on in
America and what Donald Trump will do about Law and Order if he is elected. This shows
the present and current problems going on in America regarding Black people and how they
are treated. This leads to the Black Lives Matter campaign going on in America due to the
shooting of black people by the Police.
The documentary starts of by talking about black people having weapons stored in houses
because of the need to self-protect just in case anyone attacks them. It also informs us
about a horrific event that a church was bombed killing four children due to the reasons of
the church members being majority black.
Another part of this documentary is when they look into the murder of a George who was
only 17 years old. He was killed in a ferocious manner and his killer a police officer got away
with it. This sparked a lot of protest. He was killed because this vicious officer found him to
be suspicious when he was just normal, and he then didn’t listen to other police telling him
that he was not the target and fired shots at this boy. He was able to convince the jury he
was defending himself and pleaded not guilty for the crime.
This lead to the explanation of what ALEC was, is and what it does. ALEC is a systemthat
deals with new correct and right laws. Due to this the officer was able to get away with the
crime.
The documentary then goes into talking about prisons in America. The statistics show that
40% of black people make up the population of these prison. Another statistic shows 1 in 3
black men will go to prison. In the documentary they interviewed a black man who
committed suicide after serving a sentence and being abused in jail which he did not
deserve.
I am happy that this documentary was made because now people would know the truth
beneath certain situations and so that people can look at it and not want this to be
happening. Some of the things that were shown were horrifying, like to see black people
treated as animals such as dogs and cats and most people would not even treat those
animals in that away.
