Continually review our options with colleges ISU Texas AM Lewis University IBM and the Academic Initiative are a great resource to check on schools that offer some level of Mainframe classes 3. Your NextGen team are your best recruiters Focus on non-technical skills like Leadership, Service org, teaming, creative and customer focus Good artists use different mediums to create Match the candidates to the job versus the job requirements to the candidates Put them in a situation to be successful Differentiate roles (sys prog, capacity planning) Recruiting Competition with other IT organizations and MF suppliers Competition with other technology (Machine Learning, Cloud, etc…) Change in tactics to be more assertive i.e job offers on site during job fairs It’s a buyers market, outside the box methods are needed to differentiate Work on other platforms, building apps, assignment to “other” projects (Ensono Optimization…) Relationships Our continuing relationships with University of Central AK and Northern Illinois University continue to pay dividends Northern shout-out in a recent article in Crain’s Chicago Business Magazine in an Ensono article around the Talent Drain Candidates need those personality and business skills to build the cases to be the agents and champions for change, the mark of success will be when you have that millennial leading the project to update an ineffective tool, process or technology
