Complete responsibility for all operations and care for all the residents of an 120 bed RCFE with
60 employees. Doubled census in just six months while being in compliance with Title 22. When
I began there were only 21 residents, through creative marketing it his risen to 55 residents.
The Budget has increased from $99,000 to $175,000 in six months. A strong advocate for the
residents and a compassionate advisor to their families. Successfully created both updated Service
Plans and Service Checklists which did not exist upon arrival. Developed a Resource Referral
Data Base from zero to more than 500 referrals since arrival at the community. Made significant
strides in restoring the reputation of care by designing and implementing high quality systems to
improve care and residents’ quality of living. Implemented management supervision of expenses
and increased revenue by more than 23%. Initiated creative membership financing programming
for needed capital improvements.

Oversaw all operations and care for 125 bed RCFE with 65 employees and 61 residents.
Increased census from 61 residents to 122 in less than one year by marketing the community as
one of Orange County’s most affordable facilities in the local area. Began with a Budget of
$89,000 and grew it to $192,000 per month. Created an all inclusive system to make it affordable
without affecting the quality of resident care. The growth was so successful that we were selected
by Doug Louella as one of the most affordable Assisted Living communities in all of Orange
County. Supervised a $1MM renovation of the building. Left due to sale of the community and
new ownership’s desire to bring in its own management team.
2. Belmont Village, Encino, CA
Director of Nursing, March, 2008-December, 2009
Clinical supervision of 12 nurses and 75 caregivers for 155 bed upscale Assisted Living
community. Responsibilities included monthly Assessments for all the residents, Change of
Condition and successful transition of new residents. In charge of all ordering and maintaining
proper storage and usage of patient medications. As Regional Nurse, responsible for all training
and staff development of newly hired nurses at several Belmont Village facilities. Acted as
advocate on behalf of all resident’s medication concerns. Planned and implements innovative
Family Support Group to help them deal with Memory Care and Hospice issues. Responsible for
census development by on-going marketing to local hospitals and Skilled Nursing facilities to
increase visibility and new residents.
