Description: The project involved the controlling of reactive power using SCR’s and maintaining
voltage stability and hence the stability of the whole system.
• Single coil motor (Mini Project)
Description: This project works on the principle of Fleming’s left hand rule where a rectangular core of
electromagnet forms the stator and a single turn of thick wire represents the rotor. The thick wire being
scrapped on one side at both the ends represents the commutator.
• Van de Graaff Generator (Mini Project)
Description: Basically an electrostatic generator which is used to produce a high amount of electric
potential on a hollow metal dome by means of an endless belt.
• Electrical Wiring and heater coil (Mini Project)
Description: Demonstrated different electrical wiring schemes such as Bank wiring, Hospital wiring,
Go-down wiring, Stair case wiring, Domestic wiring and also designed a heater coil for 1Kw power
rating.
