PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Hunt Alternatives, Cambridge, MA
Director, Political Parity December 2012-present
Led family foundation operating program to elevate women’s political representation in the US:
 Designed and directed restructuring and rebuilding of program, transforming its stature, increasing
recognition of our cause in the eyes of high-level political leaders across the country, and boosting
public knowledge of our efforts and ideas through coverage in prominent media outlets such as the
New York Times, Politico, and the Washington Post.
 Oversaw diverse program areas: research, communications, development, and convening.
 Refined and implemented the program’s research role, which is now a model for other programs
across the foundation; elevated one research project into thriving national initiative to increase
Latinas in elected office.
 Developed and executed on strategic direction for program, including: creation of annual and
quarterly SMART goals for both program and individual team members; solicitation and balancing
of input from multiple stakeholders, including board committee and external advisors; and
preparation of detailed annual budget and workplan.
 Stabilized turnover and hired top talent; increased employee engagement (to surpass all other
programs and departments within the organization); my team recognized company-wide as “A+”
class of high performers.
 Built and maintained development relationships to expand program budget, including multi-year
award from the Ford Foundation.
Guided the organization's COO and board to advance a clear vision with tangible goals to achieve best
results through a strategic program transition period:
 Develop a detailed six-month transition plan that would maximize program assets and strengthen the
legacy of our work.
 Responsible for identifying resources and skills to meet present and projected needs.
 Ensure the team is redeployed across the organization in positions that fit their skill sets.
