Responsibilities
• All Core Product Web Launches [Notebooks (BTO and BTS), Projectors, etc.].
• Interface with Product Marketing, i2 for BTO products, Customer Marketing, Marcom, Public
Relations, and other members of my immediate web team, with a view to gathering, coordinating, and verifying
all web-launch deliverables.
• Deliverables: Multiple database setups, product tours, project roadmap, notebook image creation,
accessory compatibility, notebook finder, web writing/editing (as needed), and verification/correction of the
following: detailed “green” specs, message maps, BTO i2 structures, pricing and promotions, and review of the
public press release.
• Known for accuracy, reliability among Product Marketing
Accomplishments
• Technical writing.
Created the first Detailed Specifications from customer questions, distributed through the Toshiba Autofax
System. These transitioned to the Toshiba Website for use by the support group, the general public, and, via
various web portals to Toshiba’s retail and B2B partners.
• Sales Support. While assigned to the server group, I created a sales brochure from a service manual. Ran
the demo pool, was assigned an 800 number to answer pre-sale questions. Finally, I created the first paper
configurator used to configure any server in the line. It was complete with current pricing, and product notes.
As part of the web team, these same skills were called upon to answer customer questions, both pre-sale and
post-sale. Support questions were referred to Toshiba Support.
• Product Launches. Responsible for launching hundreds of Toshiba products (2004-2016), Proof reading
resource documents, creating thousands of supporting images (Photoshop). Developed a Project Roadmap to
unite three separate groups into one color-coded Excel spreadsheet. Distributed to 30+ individuals in
marketing, support, web group.
• Fifteen years retail sales experience in the consumer electronics
