Project: Line 4 Subway Construction – Rio de Janeiro - RJ
Program: Site manager, January 2014 to date.
- Considered the biggest infrastructure project ongoing in LatAm, Line 4 will be the most
important Olympics 2016 legacy in urban mobility to Rio de Janeiro. It will connect South
District to West District, through densely urbanized areas, like Leblon neighborhood.
300,000 people will use the line every day, taking 2,000 vehicles off from the streets each
hour;
- Responsible for the excavation of a Ventilation and Emergency Exit Hole (22mt wide, 32mt
deep), soil treatment for Tunneling Boring Machine and civil works at Leblon Station (Antero
de Quental);
Program: Site manager, May 2013 to December 2013.
- Assembly and operation of an Industrial Concrete Plant, to serve all Line 4 construction
sites, with a total amount of 250,000 cubic meters;
Project: Providencia Hill Cable Car Construction – Rio de Janeiro - RJ
Program: Site Manager, April 2012 to April 2013.
- Rio`s port revitalization huge program included the construction of a cable car system in a
poor community called Morro da Providencia. The system serves 12,000 people every day.
- Responsible for the construction of the Americo Brum Station, located at the top of the hill.
The program included civil works (steel frame and concrete structures), electro mechanical
assembly (support to Austrian specialized company) and logistic planning. Besides, it was
necessary to deal with many different kinds of stakeholders, in order to keep project on time
and on cost.
Project: Carajas Railway Expansion Program – Santa Rita - MA

- Carajas Railway is an important part of VALE`s logistic system. Through the 560 miles
railway, everyday thousands of ore are transported from the mine in Carajas (PA) to the
Ponta da Madeira Port, in Sao Luis (MA), in north Brazil. Railway capacity was increased in
75% after the expansion program.
- Working as a civil engineer trainee, supporting project implantation at lacking
infrastructure areas. Responsible for earthworks and civil works.
