St. Louis Blues Design Winner Saint Louis, Missouri
November 2015
Created original design concept and won First Place in the St. Louis Blues #RoarBacon contest!
The design was first chosen as a top four finalist by the Blues organization, and then progressed
to open voting by Blues fans and the general public. Nearly 4,500 fans participated in the
voting, with 52% going to the winner. The T-shirt is currently available for sale at the True Blues
Authentic Team Store. Local press covered the event.
Masterpiece Graphix Fenton, Missouri
November 2014 – Present
Graphic Design Internship
Create design concepts and custom graphics for promotional and display components for
marketing campaigns, as well as various booths and themes for national convention. Collaborate
with printers to create quality mass produced printed pieces containing complex folds, dye cuts,
and glue patterns, on a variety of papers and substrates. Develop company’s brand identity and
establish cohesive designs to increase overall brand recognition.

Responsible for proposal layout and design for a warehouse redesign project. Used Adobe
Photoshop and InDesign to update and enhance photos to position proposed design in best light
possible. Successfully met design schedule milestones and exceeded client expectations.

Worked multiple jobs during the semesters and summer months to help put myself though
college. Positions included full-time landscaper in summer for 4 years, contracting for freelance
design projects such as promotional t-shirts, graphics for weddings, medical flyers for Washington
University research studies, and more. Currently working part-time as a lead server at a fast-paced
corporate chain, continuing to learn new management skills and supplement income.

Favorite hobbies and activities include playing guitar with friends and family, typography and
