Attention Human Resources
Please accept this letter as application for graphic design services. Upon moving to Toronto, I upgraded my education in editorial
design at OCAD. Prior to this, my publication experience has been with manuals, annual reports, and catalogs.
I spent four years working with Xerox at various sites, and most recently a full-time position at Marsh Canada Limited. During my time
at Marsh I have designed and prepared files for numerous booklets, reports, events, and other marketing materials.
Raised and educated in Winnipeg, I started freelancing and instructing design in Grande Prairie, Alberta. To further my experience,
I moved to Calgary to work in studio and in-house departments. Moving to Toronto has been an invaluable learning experience in
personal relations, as well as design development.
I have spent the last 5 years caring for my ASD diagnosed daughter. She is able to attend an after school program now, and I am
seeking production design employment full time.
Listed below are my skills as related to various aspects of the communication industry. On the following pages are my career and
education history. Please visit my website to see pieces from my portfolio.
I would be pleased to review my qualifications in more detail. I look forward to speaking with you at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your consideration,
David Dribnenky
