My Testimony
I was abused as a child by my mother. I started out with a pretty hard life.I blamed everything on God and therefore
rebelled againsthim.I became a professional tattoo artist and parttime drug dealer,while my ex-wife became a full time
drug user. I had three beautiful daughters with her. She decided to leave with another man leavingme with my 3 daughters.
After this I met my now wife Rebecca. She loved God with all her heart and attended a non-denomination church faithfully
and taught the children programthere. To make a longstory short, she started readingher Bibleand findingtruths which
she shared with me, such as the Sabbath, the secret rapturedeception and we were not to eat unclean foods.Some of
these truths she was findingwas hard for me to accept but if the Biblesaid itthen it must be true. I started lookingon
Youtube for a preacher who also understood these things.I went to the popular preachers such as Joel Osteen and John
Hagee and quickly realized these guys do not havea clue. Finally I justtyped in Secret Rapture Sermon and a littlebald guy
pulled up and we decided we had watched everyone else so we might as well see what he has to say.That littlebald guy
was Pastor Doug Batchelor.We soon realized thathe taught justthe Bibleand not his opi nion.Wewatched him faithfully
almostevery day for a year and all this timedid not know he was an SDA. One day my wife who had been naggingme
constantly to go to church somewhere was askingagain.To which my reply again was I do not want to go listen to preachers
lieon the pulpitof God. Then a lightbulb came on in my mind I told her I would go to church where Doug Batchelor went to
church.She quickly went to the computer to find where Doug attended. She quickly found the name SDA. We found a
church near us where Pastor Justin Howard was the pastor.In seeingmy excitement for these truths we had learned, he
took me under his wingand taught me many things, helped me to hold an evangelistmeeting, allowed me to preach from
his pulpitand helped me raisethe funds to attend Emmanuel Institute of Evangelismwhere I studied under Pastor Mark
Howard. I gave up my profession as a professional tattoo artistand businessowner to followwhere God would lead. I now
work as a volunteer Bibleworker full time for Mountain View Conference, but I want to spend my lifein serviceto God
where ever He may lead. Thanks.
