o Moved to Mount Isa in north west QLD to continue sub-contract Carpentry work & broaden
construction experience. During this time, I gained experience in ALL facets of housing
construction including, and not limited to:

 Site/building set-out

 Slab set-out for frames (including set-out for
windows/brick location)

international construction companies during the mining boom.

 Problem solving, correcting sub-par work to new homes.
 Concrete driveways & paths.
 Construction of multi-million-dollar extension to the Karratha based Burrup
fertilizer plant with all the OH&S procedures etc. that these mega-projects entail.

3.  2016 – current
o Moved to Apollo Bay to be close to family/roots after many years “away” in the Outback.
 Sub-contract Carpenter to local builder in & around Apollo Bay.
 Self-employed maintenance Carpenter.
NB: With so many years’ of experience in the building industry, in a wide range of environments, I have
developed excellent problem discovery & solving skills. This includes excellent efficiency & budgetry
considerations.
