Business/Systems Analyst/Reporting Specialist
Currently I am working with the Service Delivery team to upgrade their datawarehouse and streamline and automate delivery
of their operational reports. The reports come from four different data sources and most of the data is manually downloaded
from the source applications. I am working with HRIT to upgrade the datawarehouse environment and create a single reporting
environment that will allow reports to be built in either Tableau or Business Objects and be automatically scheduled for clie nt
delivery. The future state will save over $100,000 and almost 1000 man-hours per year.
Recently I upgraded an Oracle datawarehouse designed to support Employee survey reporting. I have added multiple survey
data and created fact tables to report on disparate data. I have also created a star schema Universe from the datawarehouse and
assist my client in developing complex reports in BO 12.5.
I also develop complex reports and dashboards using multiple datasources to provide the business with a roadmap for their
strategic decisions.
When I started at UBS, I converted several small Access databases and severalmanual processes to a centralized Microsoft
Access data warehousing solution, eliminating an entire FTE responsible for maintenance. I have built Microsoft Access
database customsolutions for business applications and Business Objects customreports for HR Compensation.
2. One report was an automated process ofCompensation statements for the entire US operations, which I built to replace an old
series of Access reports, which the company adopted as a global standard. I have taken the lead in creating several custom
automated ETL solutions to bridge disparate databases to provide integrated data output for vendors. My most complex project
was building a complete SharePoint global application to satisfy a compliance issue. The application was an alternative to a
customPeoplesoft module that would have cost the company over $100,000 and 2 years of development. I completed the
application with multiple websites and a backend database in three months.
