 - Started day-to-day Substitute Teaching (K-12) in the Warren County School District
mid-December.
 1/4/16 - 1/22/16: Obtained a long-term tutoring position at Sheffield Area Elementary
School.
 Every day of the week 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM, I would help students in and out of the
classrooms depending on what was needed. This included one-on-one work with students
as well as group instruction.
 I helped in a variety of subjects such as; Math, Reading, Language Arts, Social Studies.
 I am now a permanent tutor at the elementary school, but am only needed one day a
week.
 Therefore, I am day-to-day subbing for the other days of the week.

 9th grade Health: lessons on STD’s, HIV, Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco.
 Responsible for developing most of the handouts and tests as well as presenting the
health information.
 Used a program called Grade Quick for submitting grades for every class; each week I
had to upload the grades in order to allow the parents to monitor their child's grade
online.
 PE: lessons on basketball, volleyball, flag football, pickle-ball, mat ball, corn-hole, ping-
pong, softball, and lifetime activities.
 Also planned lessons for the fitness room that included strength training and
cardiovascular fitness.
 I had to learn how to use the technology for the fitness room, which included the
computer program P.E. Manager, Polar Heart Rate Monitors and Body analyzing
equipment.

Coaching Experience
 During my student teaching experience at Fort LeBoeuf, I took it upon myself to get
involved with the 8th grade boys' basketball team. The coach instantly made me a part of
his coaching staff and over the last four weeks of the season I helped coach at every
practice and game. The boys' ended the season with the best record in the league 20-4 and
the number one seeding in the county tournament. Unfortunately, they ended up losing in
the championship game by 5 points which was a really tough loss. Especially because
when they played that team during the regular season they cruised to an easy 22 point
victory. Overall, this was a really great experience for me and it only made me want to
become a coach even more than I already did. I just have a really strong passion for the
game and feel as though I could contribute to any coaching staff given the opportunity.
