Restoring the Fallen
Matthew 5:21-22 NIV
"You have heard that it was said to the
people long ago, 'Do not murder, and
anyone who murders will be subject to
judgment.' [22] But I tell you that anyone
who is angry with his brother will be
subject to judgment. Again, anyone who
says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable
to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says,
'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of
  hell.”
Galatians 6:1

Brothers, if someone is caught
in a sin, you who are spiritual
 should restore him gently.
 But watch yourself, or you
 also may be tempted.
Luke 9:51-54 NKJV
Now it came to pass, when the time had come for
Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His
face to go to Jerusalem, [52] and sent
messengers before His face. And as they went,
they entered a village of the Samaritans, to
prepare for Him. [53] But they did not receive
Him, because His face was set for the journey to
Jerusalem. [54] And when His disciples James
and John saw this, they said, "Lord, do You want
us to command fire to come down from heaven
and consume them, just as Elijah did?"
Luke 9:55-56 NKJV
But He turned and rebuked them,
and said, "You do not know what
manner of spirit you are of. [56]
For the Son of Man did not come
to destroy men's lives but to save
them." And they went to another
 village.
Galatians 6:2-3

Bear one another's burdens, and
so fulfill the law of Christ. [3]
For if anyone thinks himself to
 be something, when he is
 nothing, he deceives himself.
The Goal—Fulfilling the Law of God
Romans 8:1 NIV

Therefore, there is now no
 condemnation for those
 who are in Christ Jesus
Galatians 6:1 NIV

Brothers, if someone is
 caught in a sin, you
 who are spiritual should
 restore him gently.
Galatians 6:4-9
But let each one examine his own work, and then
he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in
another. [5] For each one shall bear his own load.
[6] Let him who is taught the word share in all
good things with him who teaches. [7] Do not be
deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man
sows, that he will also reap. [8] For he who sows
to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he
who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap
everlasting life. [9] And let us not grow weary
while doing good, for in due season we shall reap
if we do not lose heart.
The lesson is —
Next time it could be me.
