• Barwa Al Khor
Located 57 kilometers north of Doha, Barwa Al Khor aspires to be the core of Qatar. The extensive Barwa will emerge from its coastline as though
part of the terrain. Villas, town houses, office space, a golf course, clinic, library and mosque are some of the many amenities afforded by this
artistic, dream city.
• The Heart of Doha Project

3. PROPERTIES
There are three regimes for property ownership in Qatar. The three types of investors are:

Non-Qataris may invest and own land, buildings and constructions in three designated projects:

Non-Qataris may also acquire rights over:
• Real estate leased for a term of 99 years, renewable on similar terms.
• “Residential Units” for a term not exceeding 99 years, and in general a right to convey property belonging to another person for its own
profit, utility or advantage.
• The law further enhances the desirability of investing in Qatari property by allowing non-Qatari owners to apply for visas and residency for
themselves and their families without any local sponsorship.
4. PREMIUM HOUSING
• An estimated 13,500 residential units are projected to be
completed by the end of 2020.
• 65% of which are expected to be in The Pearl and Lusail,
according to research and consultancy firm ValuStrat.
• As many as 1,000 apartments were added to stock from
recently delivered projects in The Pearl (Viva Bahriya), Lusail
(Fox Hills and Waterfront district) and Msheireb
• Msheireb Properties National real estate developer,,
launched two new residential projects on the opening day of
Cityscape Qatar. Located in Msheireb Downtown Doha, the
new Al Kahraba and Al Khail projects will provide a selection
of one, two, three- and four-bedroom units
• Completion of villas and compounds in Al Khor, Abu Hamour,
New Salata and Muraikh added 250 new properties.
• Barwa City will cover a 2.7 million square meter land in
Musameer, just outside the heart of Doha. The development
offers its homeowners and investors 128 apartment
buildings, 6000 flats, and 1024 studio units. The city will also
include schools, a hospital, mosques, parks, shopping
complexes, health facilities and other amenities.
5. LOW & MIDDLE INCOME RESIDENCE
• Barwa Real Estate Group on July 2020 announced that
necessary procedures underway for contracting to start the
implementation of two new projects in Al Wakra.
• One of the two projects will be allocated as an integrated
housing complex for workers and the other as an integrated
residential city for low-income families. The two projects are
part of the Barwa’s initiatives to achieve Qatar’s National
Vision 2030 in terms of improving the living conditions of all
groups in society.
• It will be constructed on a land area of 994,567 square
meters. The project covers the construction of 3170 units,
comprising of 8-bedroom units with 8 toilets, and one
kitchen with project total built-up area of 730,728 square
meters.
• AL WAKRA RESIDENTIAL PROJECT – 3710 Units worker camp.
• AL KHARAITIYAT RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX (24 VILLAS)
• Al Hitmi residential building – 18 Floor, 140 Apartments
• DUKHAN HOUSING PROJECT –PETROLEUM TOWNSHIP
Approximate built-up area of the buildings is 61,349.60 sq.m
