A-I don’t think it will ever fully go away but I do
think the numbers can be decreased by a great
amount.

1.Myth-It’s only abuse if it is violent.
2.Myth- Child Abuse does not occur in “good”
Families.
3. Myth- Most Child Abusers are strangers.
4. Myth-Abused Children always grow up to be
abusers.
5. Warning Signs of Emotional abuse in children.
o Excessively withdrawn, fearful, or anxious about doing
something wrong.
o Passive or extremely aggressive
Warning Signs of Physical Abuse in Children.
Frequent injuries or unexplained bruises, welts, or
cuts.
Is always watchful and “on alert” as if waiting for
something bad to happen.

9. Some people say that we are spending to much
time on child abuse and that if the kid doesn’t
take the responsibility to get out of the home
it’s their fault.
Some people say that Child abuse should not be a
main focus when there are much worse things
happening in the world.
10. Kids are frightened and have no one to tell. They
really do believe they will be worse off if they
tell someone. With the way CPS is running
things they might as well not tell
anyone, because they are worse off if they do.
In my opinion, I don’t think there is anything
worse than harming an innocent child.
Children don’t deserve to have to suffer
through a home life that isn’t safe.
11. I believe that if we got enough people to argue
this we could raise money to make Child abuse
more well known through out the world and
put a stop to it.
If people are aware of the myths and warning
signs of Child Abuse they will know what to
watch out for and more effectively turn in cases
that need help.
12. Child Abuse is something that needs to have
attention put on it. We need to make it clear to
adults and other abusers that there will be
consequences' if harm is done to a child.
It is so important that we are aware of the correct
warning signs and facts of child abuse. We also
need to keep an out for children who may be
suffering from this.
