A survey was conducted of 20 students at a school to understand their breakfast habits. 70% of students reported eating breakfast every day while 30% skipped it. The main reasons for skipping were lack of time and not feeling hungry. Most students who ate breakfast had a balanced meal including foods from different food groups like grains, fruits, vegetables, dairy and protein. The survey concluded that eating a balanced breakfast is important for students' health, energy levels and focus during the school day.
