Rural Oregon Youth @ Work! Delivered in partnership with our network of experienced sub-grantees: Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council Community Action Program East Central Oregon Mid-Columbia Council of Governments MTC Training Placement & Services Umpqua Training & Employment South Coast Business Employment Corporation Training & Employment Consortium
The Investment Statewide Oregon received just over  $15 million in total. Nearly  $13 million  was allocated to  local WIBS.  The WIBs statewide expended more than 82% of their available funds.

Rural Oregon Youth @ Work!  1196 Youth in Jobs $3,207,125 of ARRA Resources Invested More than 70 cents on the dollar paid out through payroll, stipends and support services
 
Rural Oregon Youth @ Work Were awarded 262 High School Credits Earned dozens of College Credits Found 125 permanent jobs
 
MTC Training & Placement Services Supported 173 youth in ARRA Summer jobs MTC youth worked a total of 17,938 hours Helped 14 youth gain permanent employment Secured 71 high school and 9 college credits

Umpqua Training & Employment Supported 244 youth in ARRA Summer jobs Douglas County youth worked a total 36,893 hours 37 youth gained permanent employment

Mid-Columbia Council of Governments Supported 120 youth in ARRA  Summer jobs MCCOG youth worked 8,873 hours  10 youth gained permanent  employment
 
Low-income youth, ages 14 – 24 with an additional risk factor such as  Deficient in basic literacy skills;  School dropout;  Homeless, runaway, or foster child;  Pregnant or parenting;  Offender; or  Individual (includes youth with disabilities) who requires additional assistance to complete an educational program, or to secure and hold employment  Who was eligible?
 
 
Community Action Program East Central Oregon Supported 161 youth in ARRA Summer jobs Completed 28,031.85 hours of work Helped 1 youth gain permanent employment

Training and Employment Consortium Supported 188 youth in ARRA Summer jobs TEC youth worked 38,800 hours 19 youth gained permanent employment Secured 41 high school credits and 1 GED
 
 
Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council Supported 148 youth in ARRA Summer jobs Completed 53,516 hours of work Helped 19 youth gain permanent employment Secured 101.5 high school and 11 college credits
