Reply 1 Stakeholder involvement refers to the process of attracting and involving individuals, groups, and organizations that may be influenced or impacted by a project. Investors, workers, consumers, suppliers, communities, governments, and trade groups are all examples of stakeholders. Internal and external stakeholders might make up an entity's stakeholders. Their assistance is essential since they supply the essential resources, skills, and expertise for the project's implementation. Furthermore, they have an impact on public perceptions of expected change. It is critical to tell stakeholders about the project through interactive forums in order to get their support (Hall, 2020). The more you engage and involve stakeholders in your project, the more you'll be able to mitigate and expose hazards. For my change project of patient safety among patients diagnosed with an eating disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder, it is essential to engage stakeholders. Since these patients require long-term care support from patients, family members, social worker, case manager, psychiatrist, and therapist is vital for the smooth transition of care during step up and step down of treatment from partial and outpatient program to inpatient care and vice versa. I will secure that support with stakeholders by building a good rapport with them and encouraging active involvement in a project from all of them, and listening to their feedback to make this project successful with necessary changes. Patients, physicians, employers, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and the government are all key players in the healthcare system. Internal stakeholders have company knowledgeable of where or who to refer proposal or change of proposal. Also, stakeholders ensure that impartiality, human rights are not violated at any level, adopt policy, and practice. According to Petkovic, Tugwell. (2020), following previous responsibilities lead to improved adherence to treatments, practices recommended, and long-term successful program. For my changer project about the steps that have been done to reduce medical errors that lead to deaths includes medication educations and patient safety. Internal and external stakeholders play an essential role in the healthcare system, and the participation of these stakeholders results in the successful implementation of the change project. These stakeholders are patients, family members, nurses, pharmacists, government, and insurance companies. A stakeholder is a person or group with something to gain or lose through the outcomes of a change project (Dialogue by Design, 2008 as cited in Health Knowledge, n.d). Every stakeholder has a different degree of interest, responsibility, and authority. In order to develop a relationship with stakeholders, it is essential to have strategized plan for the way stakeholders' support will be requested and implicitly incorporated into the change project and process (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, n.d. as cited in Akins, 2021). The support of stakeholders is essential as their contribution and participation will lead to the success of the change project.
In order to secure the support of stakeholders, it is crucial to ensure that stakeholders understand the benefits of the change project and their role in the implementation of the change project. Moreover, getting the stakeholders' support involves strong motivation from those directly affected by the change project, and these people could be the patients, families, and other stakeholders. This motivation helps to secure the support of stakeholders and increase their participation in implementing the change project (Pandi-Perumal, 2015).

Patients who have complex health needs require not only medical. But also social services and support from a variety of caregivers and providers. Facility managers who are part of care coordination could assist patient in receiving optimal care by addressing the challenges in coordinating care for these patients, and offer programmatic changes and policies that help deliver the best services to all patients.
Facility managers can come up with strategic plans based on prior data and make necessary changes based on preexisting conditions. “Patient- centered, comprehensive, coordinated, and accessible care that continuously improved through a systems-based approach to quality and safety” (AHRQ, 2012) are what’s needed to achieve the highest quality care possible in any health care facility.
Patient centered care can’t be achieved with providers only. It requires team work and collaboration among all stakeholders. To improve the quality and safety of patients, health care facility managers can work hand and hand with the coordinated team to provide a system based approach by drawing on decision-support tools, taking into account patient experience, and using population health management approach. Patient preference and needs on what aspects of care to be improved.

As a facility manager, and part of the care coordination team, I would look into models of care that would assist our situation. With the Affordable Care Act in place, there are accountable care organizations (ACOs), which provide models of care (“Promise,” 2013). There are many different definitions and perspectives on care coordination, but all lead to the goal of meeting patient needs and providing adequate healthcare (“Care,” 2014).
Care coordination is essential because each patient can interact with a variety of professionals each visit. For example, for a routine physical appointment, the patient could meet with the scheduling staff, medical assistants, nurses, doctors, pharmacists, and the billing staff. If each one of these member fails to coordinate as a whole, the patient could be harmed or neglected. As a care coordinator, I would be responsible for discussing an individualized care plan with each patient and ensuring that they understand their responsibilities. All barriers should be identified, such as financial, social (language), psychological, and anything that would effect the patient from following their correct plan of care and interacting with the staff (“Promise,” 2013). Another key point is to ensure the medical staff has reviewed the patient’s medical records and ensure that everyone is on the same page. These are just a few examples, because each case is different and each patient will have different needs. .

The process of analyzing health policy involves explaining the primary relationship between different institutions, interest areas and concepts (Walt et al., 1994). It is essential in order to establish historical policies, their successes or failure and help in planning for the design and development of current and future policies. The ever dynamic nature of the policy environment makes policy analysis to look more complicated.
The design, development and adoption or implementation of any health policy is heavily dependent on the financial position of any governing institution (Walt et al., 1999). A health policy entails the management of disease or infection outbreaks and disease causing factors or conditions. In managing disease outbreaks, a ruling organization has to establish sufficient structures where patients will be taken care of or treated, ensure the availability of sufficient health experts and treatment instruments, create public awareness about the disease, including its symptom causal factors and put in place mechanisms that will help manage the spread of the disease or infection. In the management of disease causal factors, it is necessary to finance campaigns to foster effective environmental management mechanisms (Merriam et al., 2001). It is also necessary to specify the minimum conditions under which human activities will be carried out in order to enhance safety and health.
Congresswoman Moody has to understand that the state she represents lies on an international border which experiences multiple socioeconomic interactions. This is particularly dangerous considering that the area is highly populated. The fact that the area has many undocumented workers also means that they are highly vulnerable to experiencing inadequate access to health services. The conditions under which these individuals work does not make it any better. They are highly prone to contracting occupational health problems which are usually the most complicated kind of infections to deal with. Moody does not have the capacity to stop the activities that take place in her state since it will spark global controversy and even affect the economic outlook of her state. In addition, her limited Medicaid budget and rate of unemployment is depressing issues.
The first option Moody should consider is to look at the possibility of borrowing funds from one of the internal management departments to help ease the predicament that exists in the medical department. It is necessary to accept the existing condition and try to reason on how it could be solved rather than concentrating on past challenges that remain unsolved. Solving this first challenge will provide room for the developments that will lead to solving the rest of the problems.
The second option would be to welcome or introduce investors into the health sector within the state. They could help residents in the state by either offering affordable care services or through provision of an insurance pol.

Health care organizations are notorious for one-way communication. When communicating with patients and communities, health care organizations typically employ traditional techniques such as broadcast advertising, distribution of educational materials prepared for a variety of audiences, and similar methods.
A few organizations, however, have recognized the possibilities created by social media and understand that health is extremely personal and materials prepared for mass audiences rarely address the unique concerns of individual patients. Moreover, when patients must access the

health care system they are unprepared for the experience, lost in the confusion of the high-technology environment of health care, and grasping for information. Social media has done much to change this situation. Patients can easily communicate with people across the globe, share common experiences and fears, discover the personal experiences faced by others, and access all types of medical information.
Unfortunately, many health care organizations choose to use social media as just another means of one-way communication. In some cases most of the organization's posts are designed to promote the hospital or medical practice rather than address patient issues and concerns. A few organizations, recognizing this temptation, develop policies that “no more than a certain percentage” of posts can be used for promotion purposes. At Inova Health System an effort is made to ensure that 80–90 percent of its posts address patient health rather than promoting the System.
Inova has made serious attempts to use social media effectively. It has created Facebook communities in specific areas such as wellness, pediatric care, bariatric surgery, and so on. Attempts are made to encourage users to trust Inova as a supplier of valuable health information. Information can be shared about the System but only after trust is built and the interests of the organization are consistent with the interests of the communities.
It is essential to remember why social media is important. The goal is to connect with friends and build communities around common interests and to share information better and faster. Furthermore, communicating poorly is almost as bad as not communicating. The quality of posts is more important than the quantity. Because real-time communication is so exciting we frequently confuse social media overuse with proper use. Designing social media that is honest and transparent is the important determinant of how likely individuals are to follow and participate in an organization's communication efforts.

My change proposal is being implemented in the ICU. The intervention is implementing communication tools and processes that are evidence based to improve nursing sensitive indicators in the ICU. The internal stakeholders are the ICU staff and the hospital. The external stakeholders are the community that is served by the hospital. Our hospital works off of a relationship-based care (RBC) model. RBC is a culture transformation model and an operational framework that improves safety, quality, patient satisfaction, and staff satisfaction by improving every relationship within an organization (Gallison & Kester, 2018). The core of workforce engagement is the reignighting of joy and meaning for nurses. The joy and satisfaction in having a sense of accomplishment and significance in the work through processes leading to successful outcomes. RBC speaks to how we treat patients, family, and each other. Internal stakeholders all work off this model in this organization. However, covid greatly challenged relationship based care principles by limiting how we interact with each other and our patient families. That in person piece is missing for many patients still. In this organizational transition back to pre-covid practices, meetings, and policies staff are looking for guidance to unify and strengthen the workforce. It is a good segway into external stakeholders. Our nurses and other staff are also members of the community served by the hospital. Therefore, the internal stakeholders all face the real fact that they too receive their care here and have an interest in the quality of care provided. This community funded hospital has been influenced by local donors, architects and artists. Donors play a large role in celebrating the staff and creating this sense of meaning and significance for hospital staff. In a relationship based care model, these gestures serve a huge purpose and allow the hospital to recognize staff in unique ways. The positive factor here is that the nurses have come out of this powerless feeling covid left them with. Small gestures that build trust between nursing and management create a more productive work environment. This is done through clear concise communication, open discussion, and acting on feedback from staff.

Your plan should follow the process for managing and monitoring stakeholder engagement, as referred to in Figures 9.1 and 9.2 in the textbook. Your plan should include an introduction, and should answer the following questions:

· What types of meetings do you plan to have with project stakeholders? How often do you plan to hold them?

Create the stakeholder management and control plan that addresses the questions above. Feel free to use tables, graphics, or document template examples to summarize your policy and approach. As a guide to depth, your stakeholder management and control plan should be a minimum of two pages in length. If you use tables, you may either create your table in Word and include it at the end of the document, or submit it as a separate Excel file.

The process of analyzing health policy involves explaining the primary relationship between different institutions, interest areas and concepts (Walt et al., 1994). It is essential in order to establish historical policies, their successes or failure and help in planning for the design and development of current and future policies. The ever dynamic nature of the policy environment makes policy analysis to look more complicated.
The design, development and adoption or implementation of any health policy is heavily dependent on the financial position of any governing institution (Walt et al., 1999). A health policy entails the management of disease or infection outbreaks and disease causing factors or conditions. In managing disease outbreaks, a ruling organization has to establish sufficient structures where patients will be taken care of or treated, ensure the availability of sufficient health experts and treatment instruments, create public awareness about the disease, including its symptom causal factors and put in place mechanisms that will help manage the spread of the disease or infection. In the management of disease causal factors, it is necessary to finance campaigns to foster effective environmental management mechanisms (Merriam et al., 2001). It is also necessary to specify the minimum conditions under which human activities will be carried out in order to enhance safety and health.
Congresswoman Moody has to understand that the state she represents lies on an international border which experiences multiple socioeconomic interactions. This is particularly dangerous considering that the area is highly populated. The fact that the area has many undocumented workers also means that they are highly vulnerable to experiencing inadequate access to health services. The conditions under which these individuals work does not make it any better. They are highly prone to contracting occupational health problems which are usually the most complicated kind of infections to deal with. Moody does not have the capacity to stop the activities that take place in her state since it will spark global controversy and even affect the economic outlook of her state. In addition, her limited Medicaid budget and rate of unemployment is depressing issues.
The first option Moody should consider is to look at the possibility of borrowing funds from one of the internal management departments to help ease the predicament that exists in the medical department. It is necessary to accept the existing condition and try to reason on how it could be solved rather than concentrating on past challenges that remain unsolved. Solving this first challenge will provide room for the developments that will lead to solving the rest of the problems.
The second option would be to welcome or introduce investors into the health sector within the state. They could help residents in the state by either offering affordable care services or through provision of an insurance pol.

Multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) bring together different professionals like doctors, nurses, social workers to provide coordinated care for people with complex needs. MDTs are expected to deliver the right care in community settings to prevent unnecessary hospitalization. They support integration by taking a holistic person-centered approach. Health care organizations are notorious for one-way communication. When communicating with patients and communities, health care organizations typically employ traditional techniques such as broadcast advertising, distribution of educational materials prepared for a variety of audiences, and similar methods.
A few organizations, however, have recognized the possibilities created by social media and understand that health is extremely personal and materials prepared for mass audiences rarely address the unique concerns of individual patients. Moreover, when patients must access the

health care system they are unprepared for the experience, lost in the confusion of the high-technology environment of health care, and grasping for information. Social media has done much to change this situation. Patients can easily communicate with people across the globe, share common experiences and fears, discover the personal experiences faced by others, and access all types of medical information.
Unfortunately, many health care organizations choose to use social media as just another means of one-way communication. In some cases most of the organization's posts are designed to promote the hospital or medical practice rather than address patient issues and concerns. A few organizations, recognizing this temptation, develop policies that “no more than a certain percentage” of posts can be used for promotion purposes. At Inova Health System an effort is made to ensure that 80–90 percent of its posts address patient health rather than promoting the System.
Inova has made serious attempts to use social media effectively. It has created Facebook communities in specific areas such as wellness, pediatric care, bariatric surgery, and so on. Attempts are made to encourage users to trust Inova as a supplier of valuable health information. Information can be shared about the System but only after trust is built and the interests of the organization are consistent with the interests of the communities.
It is essential to remember why social media is important. The goal is to connect with friends and build communities around common interests and to share information better and faster. Furthermore, communicating poorly is almost as bad as not communicating. The quality of posts is more important than the quantity. Because real-time communication is so exciting we frequently confuse social media overuse with proper use. Designing social media that is honest and transparent is the important determinant of how likely individuals are to follow and participate in an organization's communication efforts.

My change proposal is being implemented in the ICU. The intervention is implementing communication tools and processes that are evidence based to improve nursing sensitive indicators in the ICU. The internal stakeholders are the ICU staff and the hospital. The external stakeholders are the community that is served by the hospital. Our hospital works off of a relationship-based care (RBC) model. RBC is a culture transformation model and an operational framework that improves safety, quality, patient satisfaction, and staff satisfaction by improving every relationship within an organization (Gallison & Kester, 2018). The core of workforce engagement is the reignighting of joy and meaning for nurses. The joy and satisfaction in having a sense of accomplishment and significance in the work through processes leading to successful outcomes. RBC speaks to how we treat patients, family, and each other. Internal stakeholders all work off this model in this organization. However, covid greatly challenged relationship based care principles by limiting how we interact with each other and our patient families. That in person piece is missing for many patients still. In this organizational transition back to pre-covid practices, meetings, and policies staff are looking for guidance to unify and strengthen the workforce. It is a good segway into external stakeholders. Our nurses and other staff are also members of the community served by the hospital. Therefore, the internal stakeholders all face the real fact that they too receive their care here and have an interest in the quality of care provided. This community funded hospital has been influenced by local donors, architects and artists. Donors play a large role in celebrating the staff and creating this sense of meaning and significance for hospital staff. In a relationship based care model, these gestures serve a huge purpose and allow the hospital to recognize staff in unique ways. The positive factor here is that the nurses have come out of this powerless feeling covid left them with. Small gestures that build trust between nursing and management create a more productive work environment. This is done through clear concise communication, open discussion, and acting on feedback from staff.

LOCLBus Ltd are a bus operator in the East of England, in the UK. Black soldiers serving in the Philippines to put down the insurgency against the United States sent letters to African American newspapers relating their experiences on the islands. Some disheartened soldiers found that the color line extended far beyond the boundaries of the United States, while others saw action in the Philippines as a chance to prove their patriotism and their equality. The first and third letters below were published in the Richmond Planet on December 30, 1899, and December 22, 1900, respectively.
