as in democratic outlook, ideals and
processess.
• Ina unit , the needs of the learner canbe
given top consideration.
6. DEMERITS
• If the items of a unit are not well planned,
with a wholistic approach they will become
mere group at isolated facts.
7. DEFINITION
• “ It is a sub-division ofa course of study , a
test book or a subject field, particulraly a sub-division
in socialstudies, practical arts or
sciences. It is an organisation of various
activities, experiences and types of learning
around the central theme, proble or purpose
developed cooperatively by a group of pupils
under teacher leadership. It involves
planning execution of plan abd evalution of
resuts.
