Regular solids are 3D polyhedrons where all faces are identical regular polygons and the same number of faces meet at each corner. Semi-regular solids, also called Archimedean solids, have faces that are all regular polygons but the corners are not all identical. There are 13 Archimedean solids and prisms or antiprisms are also considered semi-regular if their faces are regular polygons.
