Dear Members and Friends,
Chef Satoshi Tsuru of Sushi KiShin is a most well-travelled chef. Western and oriental ways
of life are mixed within him as he cultivated a knowledge of western culture while living and
working in New York. ‘Ki’ refers to a miracle, or something wonderful, while ‘Shin’ denotes
something new — reflections of Chef Satoshi’s journey to Bangkok.
For the next Ordre Mondial des Gourmet Dégustateurs dinner, we took inspiration from Chef
Satoshi’s experience and came up with an intriguing pairing of east and west: sushi and wines
from the Loire Valley. Places are limited to 14. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
Priority will be given to Members of the Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs of the
Bailliage de Bangkok-Rattanakosin.
