This document discusses the biblical concept of regeneration. It defines regeneration as being spiritually born again through faith in Jesus Christ, which gives a person new spiritual life and makes them part of God's kingdom. Regeneration is necessary because people are sinful and separated from God. It is accomplished through God imparting new spiritual life through the work of the Holy Spirit and knowledge of God revealed in scripture. Regeneration results in a totally new life and relationship with God and other believers characterized by righteousness defined by God's will.
The temptation is one of the most familiar experiences of a true child of God and no one can totally escape from it. Even our Lord Jesus Christ was tempted (Matt 4:1, Heb 4:15). This is why the Lord taught us to include it in our daily prayer.

You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. - James 4:1-3
In other words, if your needs just keep on not being taken care of, it’s either because you’re not praying at all or because you think you’re praying and you’re not!
Tomorrow we are starting a new series of study:
“The New Man” is a seminar that will focus on the spirit of man, its soul and its body.
We will learn the properties of each one of these three parts of man.
Our spirit is called to be the ruling part of us, actually, our spirit is the main part of our being, and is the place where the spirit of God dwells in.
We meet in Room #3 at CTF Toronto Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. I invite you to come and participate with us in this discovery of how to let our spirit become the ruler of our life.
The Bible teaches that baptism for the forgiveness of sins is necessary for our salvation. The example of the 12 disciples in Ephesus helps us understand that not all “baptisms” are the same. There are four aspects of baptism that saves: 1) Proper Candidate; 2) Proper Purpose; 3) Proper Authority; 4) Proper Action.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
