2. Objective BACKGROUND
Chewing gum comes in
different forms, colors and
flavors. It's versatile and
cheap, which is why
especially kids love to mold
it in creative ways. They are
usually stopped by their
parents to do so, because
they don't see the purpose
in this play.
What if we fostered the
kids' creativity to do good
with chewing gum?
To look at chewing
gum in a new way,
and by doing so
create as much
self-defined
"value" as possible.
3. IDEA
We want to collaborate with brands that focus
on children's products for play and wellbeing.
Given out at specific events and/or sold as a
special "good gum" edition for only little extra,
children are asked to use the chewing gum to
mold any object that they would want to give to
less fortunate peers, e.g. a colorful bracelet.
Their individual model will then be reproduced
as an industrial version that is shipped as a
present to a child in a poorer region of the
world, including a short personal message.

5. A new sense of value
With children from wealthier parts
of the world creating personal
presents to less fortunate children
based on only a chewing gum,
we creatively nurture social
engagement beyond language,
geographical or material
boundaries and - on the other
hand - give the joy of an individual
gift made by a "like-minded kid".
The versatile, cheap gum is not
molded only for the sake of play
any longer, but allows a sense of
active giving in a versatile,
cheap and kids-approved way.
Brands can bring to life their
interest of kids being imaginative
and empowered to do good with
simple tools, starting with a basic
chewing gum.
