1. The relation between the text and the subject
The topic that I chose was the Story of the English Language and it has everything to
do with the topics talked in classes. The text I chose to complement the topic was The
English Language. This text presented the origins of English with the arrival of different
tribes and cultures in different years and the contributions that they made to the culture and
specially to the language itself. The also presents the differences between the old with the
modern English and show clear examples of that, and then it explain the reasons of the two
different types of changes in the English language.
This text is entirely related with what have been talking in classes and it was helpful
to understand more what the teacher wants me to learn.
