Subject: Reference Letter for Sze Kai Xuan
To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing this letter as a personal and employee recommendation of Sze Kai Xuan for his future
career opportunities.
I have had the pleasure of working with Kai Xuan for the period from 17 September, 2012 to 23
November, 2012. He was hand-picked from his school to be part of the Overseas Student Internship
Program and I interviewed him before accepting him to be my marketing intern.
In his role as a marketing intern, he was tasked with supporting the Tyco China Security team in a
variety of tasks that included planning and organizing of events, idea generation and design for
advertising and promotional materials, translation of materials and market research. Two of the
highlights of his internship included his management and execution of a regional sales conference
and his close involvement in the production of the Tyco China corporate video.
Kaixuan takes his work very seriously and what impressed me the most was his maturity. He is an
intellectual workhorse who is both good with logical analysis and creative ideas. Despite his talent,
he remains very humble and is very willing to learn. He challenges the status quo and is not
contented with mediocrity. He was exceptionally adaptable to a foreign environment and became
very well-liked by his co-workers.
In summary, I believe Kaixuan will be a strong and valuable asset to any organization. His is equipped
with both a self-motivating nature to want to do well and the ability to do well. If you have any
