Mark Boshell wasonmyteam andwe workedtogetheronthe same shiftrotation.
I wouldrecommendMarkas a team player,he ismethodical, self-motivated,reliable andhighly
safetyconscious,he participatedindailysafetybriefs,tool boxesandleadbyexample.
On numerousoccasionMark provedhistechnical abilitywithfaultfindingtorectifymanylogical
problemswithinhiscore trade.He alsokept a veryhighstandardworkingtoISSOW (PTW) system;
he participatedinmanylevel 2riskassessmentsanddevelopedmanyworkpacks.
He completedontargetforall preventativemaintenance workorders.IwasimpressedwithMark’s
attitude andteamrole to assistoperations,mechanical andelectricalteams.He workedwell under
pressure duringthe RiserandFlotel Campaignshutdownsduringourtime spenttogetherwithzero

I worked with Mark Boshell from November 2010 when I started on the North Everest Platform with
BG Group.
Mark was employed as an Instrument Tech but was also used when required as a ‘Stand In Control
Room Operator’ and also as a Process Isolator due to excellent platform knowledge in Instruments
and Production. He had completed the training allowing him in a control room several years ago.
Mark is an excellent Instrument Technician who can be relied on to do ‘normal’ instrument routines
and also fault find and repair instrument problems. On several occasions I called Mark out during his
rest period because of instrument issues and he responded positively and sorted problems out
helping us maintain production.
During ABB upgrades on the DCS Mark was always the ‘focal’ point for ABB when they arrived on the
platform.
I would go on record to say Mark is one of the best Instrument Techs I have come across in 20 years
Petrochemical Experience and 3 years Offshore Experience.
Mark is well respected and very popular within the trades Dept on North Everest and also within the
Production Teams.
