2. The Goal?
The goal was to reduce by two thirds, between
1990 and 2015, the under five mortality rate.
The children are the future of our world, so it is
imperative that we do everything we can to make
them live longer and better lives.

3. Why it resonates
We as human beings are too intelligent and
resourceful of a species to allow other human
beings to go without and die from the lack of
resources that we should consider human rights.
Everyone deserves a right to education, shelter,
nourishment for a healthy body, sufficient
clothing, and to be free and safe from tyranny.

4. Local Application
Children starve everywhere, except
neighborhoods that are exclusive to the wealthy.
We can donate food and water to shelters. For
example, like doing the turkey drives every year
for Thanksgiving. Those go to people who may not
be able to afford turkeys that year.
Being mindful of that, those of us who are not
struggling can also be thankful and not wasteful of
the things we may have a surplus of.

5. Greatest Contribution
I think the greatest contribution I could make is
donating to food banks, donating clothes, and
using my platforms to bring awareness to the
problem that is child mortality.

6. Social Media
Social Medias are super interactive platforms with
algorithms that allow people to see what their
algorithms allow them to see. So the social media
platforms could put ads up. And we as users of the
platforms are able to spread our messages to our
followers who are then able to share it to their
followers and that’s how a movement spreads and
grows.
