the mission of the indian red
cross is to inspire ,encourage
and initiate at all time ,all
forms of humanitarian
activities .so that human
suffering can be minimized
and even prevented.
10. AIMS OF THE IRCS
A] To help promote and develop the activities of the
red cross and humanitarian law.
B] To recognize the merits of the individual who have
made particular contribution to its work.
C] To provide support to staff difficulty because of their
work in crises.
D] To relief the sick and wounded in the armies without
distinction of nationality.
E] The roll of huamitarian service on behalf of the
victim of war and natural disaster.
F] To provide first aid and nursing health education
,maternal and child welfare service.

movement may not take sides
in hostilities or engage in
controversies of a political,
racial relegious or ideological
nature.

The movement is independent .the
national societies, while auxillaries in
the humanitarian service of their
govt... And subject to the laws of their
respective country must always
maintain their autonomy so that they
may be able at all time to act in
accordance with the principle of the
movement.

There can be only one red
cross society ,in which must be
open to all and it must carry on
its humanitarian work
throughout its territory.

A] To provide emergency shelter, food and
medicine .
B] Disaster relief.
C] Promotion of voluntary blood donation.
D] Collection for blood transfusion.
E] Distribution of all itms like milk powder
,medicine, vitamin and other medical facilities
supplies to hospital,dispensaries, selter .
F] To provide home nursing and first aid.
G] To control and prevention of disease.
H] Restoring family contact for disater victims.

International humanitarian law is
a set of rules .which seek, for
humanitarian reason to limit the
effect of armed conflict.
International humanitarian law is
also know as the law of war or
the law of urmed conflict.
