Recycling By: Sara Gargasz
Interesting FactsRecycling= a process through which waste materials are changed into new products 3 to 6 billion trees are being cut down every yearFamily’s of 4 throws away about 2,000 pound of garbage every yearAmerican workers throw away enough objects that can be recycled every year to build a wall from San Francisco to New York
Interesting FactsIf you recycle 1 aluminum can it saves enough energy to run a TV for 3 hoursAlso when I went to the Penguins game and they give you those big booklets and I saw a lot of them on the floor when the people all ready left and they could just take it home an recycle them because who knows if the clean up people recycle the booklets or not.
Lesson Learned	I learned that if you recycled 1 quart bottle you can make a recycled fleece shirt. Also I learned that if you recycle aluminum cans and foil it saves enough 95% of energy to make a bran new can. Did you know that if you recycling 1 plastic bottle saves enough energy to power a 60w light bulb 6 hours before it runs out of energy. By the way did you know that milk bottles can be cleaned and reused 20 times. Finally I learned that 1 gallon of oil can pollute 1 million gallons of the water we drink. Those are something I learned about recycling.
Spreading the World	I will spread the word by making a catchy tune and teach it to my friends and they will tell there friend and it will keep going on and on. Another thing I will do is make a brochures out of recycled paper. The last thing that I will do is go to schools to teach kids on how important it is to recycle. That is how I plan on spreading the word about recycling.
My PledgeI pledge to recycle because it saves the earth, ego system, environment, animals, and our lives. Recycling will make the world a better place for all living things. I will recycle not only for me but for everybody, the world and everything on earth.
