Recreational marijuana refers to cannabis used for enjoyment rather than health benefits and can be smoked in joints, pipes, bongs or blunts or mixed in food or tea. Medical marijuana uses the marijuana plant or its chemicals to treat diseases or conditions like Alzheimer's, cancer, Crohn's, AIDS, epilepsy, glaucoma, schizophrenia, PTSD, multiple sclerosis, muscle spasms, nausea and seizures. It is essentially the same product as recreational marijuana but taken for medical purposes.
