INDUSTRY PROFILE & EXPANSION
 Ramoji film city is situated near Hayatnagar in
Hyderabad, Telangana. Opened in 1996 and was
certified by Guinness world record as the largest
integrated film city.
 It Contains 1666 acres of land and is the site of
Ushakiran Movies.
 It hosts a theme park and the Ramoji Academy of film
and Television (RAFT) which offers degree in Film
Making.
 Number of films in many languages like Hindi, English,
Telugu, Malayalam,kannada,Gujarathi, Bengali,Oriya,
Bhojpuri and many TV serials and commercials are
produced here every year.
 Awards-PadmaVibhushan 2016 2nd Highest civilian
award for his service in Journalism and literature &
Education.
COMPANY PROFILE
 Ramoji Film City is located in Hyderabad. At 2000
Acres. It is the largest integrated film city in the
world.
 Ramoji Group is a conglomerate headed by Ramoji
Rao and headquarter in Hyderabad. Its business
cover television, news paper, media, film
production, financial services retail education and
hospitality.
 Ramoji Rao is an Indian businessman film
producer, educationist, journalist and media
entrepreneur.
 Ramoji Rao received Doctorate from Sri Sri
University from Odisha.
METHODOLOGY
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY:-
 1. Keeping the need and importance of recreation and leisure
tourism development in India scenario. In general particularly
in Indian leisure and recreation industry objectives are study.
 To examine the progress growth the problems of recreation
and leisure tourism objectives in tourism industry in India.
 3. To analyze various aspects relating to Ramoji Film City and
its importance of leisure and recreation tourism.
 4. To study the development of recreation and leisure tourism
activities includes entertainment rides, cultural shows and
magical shows
 5. To analyze the various aspects like catering,
accommodation, entertainment and transport etc., of tourist.
LIMITATIONS:
 1. Much time to get the executives of Ramoji Film
City was very busy and they could not spare full
and detailed information in oral discussions.
 2.Due to the technological changes in day to day
operations of recreation and leisure industry, the
secondary data which has public are not consistent
in all the period of the study.
 3. Certain information relating to recreation and
leisure industry were not disclosed because of their
confidentiality the nature of the business.

website, published as well as unpublished documents etc

 A purposive sample is a non-representative subset of

We may conclude that most of visitors prefer to stay in TARA hotel. It is the only
luxury hotel with low price comparing with Sitara hotel. In Most of the family stayed in
Tara hotel are job holders whereas in Sitara businessman and celebrities.

  • 4. INDUSTRY PROFILE & EXPANSION  Ramoji film city is situated near Hayatnagar in Hyderabad, Telangana. Opened in 1996 and was certified by Guinness world record as the largest integrated film city.  It Contains 1666 acres of land and is the site of Ushakiran Movies.  It hosts a theme park and the Ramoji Academy of film and Television (RAFT) which offers degree in Film Making.  Number of films in many languages like Hindi, English, Telugu, Malayalam,kannada,Gujarathi, Bengali,Oriya, Bhojpuri and many TV serials and commercials are produced here every year.  Awards-PadmaVibhushan 2016 2nd Highest civilian award for his service in Journalism and literature & Education.
  • 5. COMPANY PROFILE  Ramoji Film City is located in Hyderabad. At 2000 Acres. It is the largest integrated film city in the world.  Ramoji Group is a conglomerate headed by Ramoji Rao and headquarter in Hyderabad. Its business cover television, news paper, media, film production, financial services retail education and hospitality.  Ramoji Rao is an Indian businessman film producer, educationist, journalist and media entrepreneur.  Ramoji Rao received Doctorate from Sri Sri University from Odisha.
  • 6. METHODOLOGY OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY:-  1. Keeping the need and importance of recreation and leisure tourism development in India scenario. In general particularly in Indian leisure and recreation industry objectives are study.  To examine the progress growth the problems of recreation and leisure tourism objectives in tourism industry in India.  3. To analyze various aspects relating to Ramoji Film City and its importance of leisure and recreation tourism.  4. To study the development of recreation and leisure tourism activities includes entertainment rides, cultural shows and magical shows  5. To analyze the various aspects like catering, accommodation, entertainment and transport etc., of tourist.
  • 7. LIMITATIONS:  1. Much time to get the executives of Ramoji Film City was very busy and they could not spare full and detailed information in oral discussions.  2.Due to the technological changes in day to day operations of recreation and leisure industry, the secondary data which has public are not consistent in all the period of the study.  3. Certain information relating to recreation and leisure industry were not disclosed because of their confidentiality the nature of the business.
