in the past. The purpose of
Recount Text is to provide
information or to entertain the
reader. In the Recount Text
there are no complications
(Complication) as in the
Narrative Text.

experiences or events and
events that occurred in
the past with the aim of
entertaining the reader or
listener.

 Because it tells the events that happened in the past,
then the recount text always uses past tense. Last week,
I went to Bali island with my family.
 Because it is sequential (chronological) often uses
conjunctions that connect events in time, such as
<em> as next, later, when, then, after, before, first.
 Tells to describe events, so they are widely used made
of verbs (verbs), and adverbs (which describe in more
detail how verbs (verbs) are done).
