During her internship, she took part in the day-to-day work of the Corruption and Economic Crime Branch (CEB), which has overall substantive and implementation responsibility relating to the UNODC Programme on Corruption and also acts as Secretariat to the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) and its subsidiary bodies, including the Implementation Review Mechanism. More specifically, Ms. Malysheva worked on the following assignments: • Performed various tasks relevant to the support of the UNCAC Implementation Review Mechanism for the country reviews of Myanmar, Denmark, Turkmenistan and Malawi; including the assistance with the preparation of blueprint reports and executive summaries in English. • Worked on translations from Russian to English and vice-versa. That involved translating official correspondence, revising blueprint reports and conducting other various assignments relevant to the functioning of the branch. • Assisted in servicing of the Sixth Intersessional Meeting of Open-ended Intergovernmental Working Group on Prevention of the Conference of States Parties to UNCAC. • Assisted with the organization of the theory of change strategic branch development workshop attended by all the members of CEB. • Assisted in preparation of funding proposals and budget drafts on various CEB projects. • Assisted in preparation of budget monitoring reports on various CEB projects. • Provided input to and supported the development of CEB internet products. In carrying out her assignments, Ms. Malysheva proved to be highly motivated and demonstrated an outstanding work ethics. Throughout her internship, she consistently produced an excellent quality work in a timely fashion. Ms. Malysheva’s work performance always has been very efficient and as a rule, exceeded the expectations. In summary, I am very happy to recommend Ms. Nadezda Malysheva.
