This letter is my professional recommendation for Miguel Guilfuchi. Miguel worked for me as a
Mobile Web Developer and Technical Support Specialist. His primary responsibilities were in
support of the redesign and re-launch of our department’s internal website, or intranet.
Specifically, he helped develop the new organization of the site and mapped existing content to
this new structure. The goal was to ensure continuity and maintain functionality of the existing
site while leveraging the features of the new software to build upon and enhance the original
site.
Despite knowing virtually nothing about either the nature of our business or website design,
Miguel quickly got up to speed in both areas. He is a very fast and dedicated learner and
understood what things were important for the business and specifically for our group. Not
only was he able to identify and anticipate problem areas, but he would also proactively
propose solutions for addressing them. He communicates clearly and self-sufficient, but was
not afraid to ask questions and knew when to seek out others for help.
His role on developing the Bmobilized mobile engine required him to work closely with the
other members within my group, with representatives from IT, and outside customers. In
addition to the work he did on our department, Miguel was also extraordinarily helpful in other
areas. Whenever he had downtime on the project, he would always seek out other tasks to
assist the group. He never turned down a request. In all of his interactions, he was consistently
pleasant, tackling all assignments with dedication and a smile.
Thanks to Miguel’s diligence and hard work, we made extraordinary progress with our project.
Although the project ended up being more complicated and taking longer than anyone
expected, by the end of the summer, we were gearing up to launch the site. We would not
have been in a position to do so without him.
Miguel has done an excellent job and I would highly recommend him. He is a mature, hard-
working team player and would make a great asset to any organization.
