Person Centred Planning Training Course is a process of life planning for individuals, based around the principles of inclusion and the social model of disability. Derived mainly from the early work in building circles of support, these tools should be available for us all. Person Centred Planning tools are alive and active, always ensuring the focus person is central and in control. They are flexible, setting no limits to the person’s wants, needs and dreams for their life. In Person Centred Planning the process, as well as the product, is owned and controlled by the person (and sometimes their closest family and friends). As there are no prescribed forms, tick boxes or checklists, the resulting plan of support is totally individual. It creates a comprehensive portrait of who the person is and what they want to do with their life and brings together all of the people who are important to the person including family, friends, neighbours, support workers and other professionals involved in their lives. Person Centred Planning replaces more traditional outmoded styles of assessment and planning which are based on a medical model approach to people’s needs.

Education is a continuous process that accompanies and goes through the whole life of man, where the role of the teacher is to help the student to do himself. So; education as a frames process is very complex, because it seeks nursing students to be realized as human beings, which implies stimulating their freedom and autonomy while respecting the other; Encouraging him to learn the culture to which they have come, awakening their ability to communicate, respect and internalize the values so that with freedom to reach, participate critically and innovatively in new cultural realizations. Part of my philosophy is to promote in my students the value and individual ability for self-realization through reasoning.
My goal is to develop a critical, whole, and accomplished human being. To achieve my goal, I encourage my students to talk about their experiences and direct situations; since knowledge develops in an affective framework, of values; responds to the needs and interests of the student and therefore learning is developed from the perception of the student, in accordance with their experiences and experiences.
As an educator, I know learning can only be made successful by both instructor and learners. Being an instructor, I will serve my role of making my student get the nursing context in which they can understand the motivation of decisions made by those nursing figures and they can critically evaluate those motivations as well as getting the real essence of actions taken when they synthesize the event themselves. I always want my learners to know that emotionally and intellectually their daily life is as the result of events which were created by normal human being like themselves whom maybe in their mind come across of implications or even foresee result of their actions.
It is always my joy to make my learners understand that what they are currently learning is because of those events that have been developed by others and that have shaped the nursing career, to make sure they can handle consciously this event whenever they leave my classroom. My priority is to draw the picture of conversion between nursing and nursing actors those are being studied by my students. I make sure also dialog arising in the class as the reaction of my teaching is conducted in a mutual respect, tolerance of diversified opinions and safe atmosphere to make sure that any candid dialogs of most uncomfortable topics are discussed. Nursing has evolved over a long time and thus it is my desire that my students understand the various nursing contexts that have been carried on from time to time and which have shaped the nursing culture today.
As an instructor, I use varied methods of teachings to ensure that discussions and interactions are encouraging and do not create monotonous feeling to my learners. One ...
The summary provides the key details from the document in 3 sentences:
The document discusses the author's experience attending a reunion event for Asian-American alumni of Harvard University. At the event, the author was asked repeatedly about their views on Michelle Rhee and the documentary "Waiting for Superman". The author responds that while charter schools can provide opportunities, addressing educational deficits requires bringing all educators together to recognize the commitment of those working in urban schools.
This document contains summaries of award recipients from Murdoch University. It recognizes Dr Jane Pearce who received the 2014 Senate Medal for exceptional service to the university as Associate Dean of Learning and Teaching. It also recognizes Dr Erich von Dietze who received the 2014 Vice Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Professional Services as Manager of Research Ethics. Finally, it acknowledges several academics who received the 2014 Vice Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Learning and Teaching in their respective fields and disciplines.
Here are the key elements of a research proposal on this topic:
Participants: The sample should include preadolescent children (ages 8-12) from both urban and suburban elementary schools. It should include an equal number of children who participate in organized sports and those who do not. A sample size of at least 100 children in each group (organized sports vs not) would allow for adequate statistical power.
Measures: The dependent variable is standardized test scores. These should be obtained from official school records for each child's most recent standardized test (e.g. IOWA, SAT, ACT).
Procedure: Parents would complete a brief survey indicating whether their child participates in organized sports outside of school physical education classes.

To Whom It May Concern:
I have been asked by Hanna Chusid, EdD. to write a letter of recommendation as part of her application for an
educator/teacher position. It is a pleasure to write this recommendation for Dr. Chusid. As Chairman of
Academic Programs at Ryokan College, I am responsible for the hiring and supervision of faculty. It was my
decision to have her join our faculty. She has taught Bereavement and Family Dynamics at Ryokan and has
been highly regarded by her students and the College administration.
Dr. Chusid has consistently utilized a strong knowledge base to actively engage students in the learning process.
As our entire graduate program (MA-MFT, PsyD) is taught via a synchronous, live, on-line platform, Dr. Chusid
has demonstrated effective use of the tools at her disposal (internet, library, video, audio, whiteboard, live-on
camera/microphone medium). Her attention to detail and the maintenance of high academic standards have
been noted across her classes.
I would like to note that Ryokan is a somewhat atypical college insofar as the evaluation process is a two-fold
process. While faculty provide a written evaluation of students, our students do the same for the faculty. The
evaluation instrument for students is composed of a multipart, Likert based scale assessment and narrative
section. I review the evaluations by all students and faculty members for the graduate program classes. This
review process is carried out by several other administrators as well, including review of video/audio class
archives. It is noteworthy that Dr. Chusid’s students have been both impressed by her acumen, satisfied with
her style of presentation, her availability, and her level of commitment to their education. Dr. Chusid’s
evaluations from students appear to have accurately reflected the high level of professionalism and knowledge
that she brought to her students.
Dr. Chusid is a mature, grounded individual who is clearly sensitive to her impact in the academic setting. Her
ability to clearly communicate often dense, emotionally sensitive or difficult material is also noteworthy,
especially as she has a solid understanding of her subject matter.
I can whole heartedly recommend Dr. Chusid as a conscientious, highly motivated clinician who would be an
asset to any teaching situation. I hope you will give active consideration to her application. If I may be of any
further assistance, please feel free to contact me directly.
Sincerely,
A. Scott Greer, Ph.D.
