To whom it may concern:
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Mengxuan (Delia) Wang. Delia was in two of
my classes, Investments and Financial Planning I (Tax and Insurance) during 2014. After pursuing a
track in Wealth Management in the Oregon State MBA program, Delia is currently looking for
employment opportunities in the fields of business, finance and financial planning. Having observed her
for over a year in both classroom and out of classroom situations, I have no doubts that she is will be
excellent addition to any team.
Delia’s commitment to any project is demonstrated by her success during her MBA studies, a great GPA,
excellent written and verbal English skills and a high degree of hard work. She is a diligent and
motivated student with excellent quantitative and analytical skills. She was constantly prepared for class
and her exam scores were consistently in the top 5% of the class. Furthermore, Delia can compete with
any student in class. For example, during the Investment class, her term paper was chosen as one of the
best papers in the class, both for its content and quality. This is especially remarkable given that from the
top 4 papers in class, hers was the only one written by a non-domestic student.
In addition, I can attest to Delia’s ability to read and process vast amounts of information. One of the
main components of my classes was weekly assigned reading that ranged between 50-100 pages per class.
Delia was constantly prepared. I was impressed by the ease with which she processes large amounts of
information and is able to extract key points, a skill that will prove valuable in a work environment.
I strongly recommend Delia for a position in finance or business. I have no doubt that she will be an
excellent learner and will prove to be a valuable asset to any team. If I can be of any further assistance in
this matter, or if more information is required, please do not hesitate to contact me at

Sincerely,
