Jesus died so that all who believe in Him can receive the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Jesus tells us that if anyone asks to receive the Holy Spirit he will receive. The Holy Spirit is a good gift from the Father. Why would anyone hesitate to receive a good gift from God that Jesus suffered and died to make available.

Receive the
Holy Spirit
• Affirm your belief in Jesus as the
One who has died for your sins.Affirm
your love and commitment to Him.
Do this in a short prayer.
• Desire the Holy Spirit. Want to
receive Him. Be thirsty for Him.Ask to
be filled with the Holy Spirit.
• Receive. The one who is praying for
you will gently lay their hands on you
and pray.
• Jesus promises that when we ask
for the Holy Spirit our heavenly Father
hears and sends the Holy Spirit to us.

directly to God.
