Evaluation
Ryan Harris evaluated his preliminary interrogation scene task. He felt the idea of an interrogation on the floor with an oddly dressed interrogator could be humorous but was not realistic. When reviewing the filmed scene, it was shakier and less focused than expected. To improve, he will use a tripod and automatic focus for future films. The scene also appeared dull due to ambient lighting and grey weather. When editing, the shared program ran slowly due to other users, frustrating him and causing rushed work. To prevent this, he will download the program at home for smoother, untimed editing.
Music video analysis
The music video relates well to the dance genre, featuring scantily clad women dancing to the beat of the music in exotic locations. Though the lyrics are about loving with no one to love, the visuals do not connect directly and instead show people dancing and appearing happy together. The music and visuals sync well, with the dancing speeding up or slowing down corresponding to the tempo. Close ups focus on sentimental gestures between the women to show their close relationship rather than their faces.
