Can we devise a scheme like RECAPTCHA for translations so that there is incentive for users to help contribute to the correct translation of large amounts of text from English to regional languages?

reCAPTCHA for translation RECAPTCHA uses a special CAPTCHA: always two words
reCAPTCHA for translation One word is a commonly known word twisted and obfuscated deliberately, to make it a useful CAPTCHA
reCAPTCHA for translation The other is a random, unscannable word from the image of a famous printed text
reCAPTCHA for translation Hence the first word acts like a primary check on your being a human
reCAPTCHA for translation And the second word uses your human intelligence by asking you to identify what their OCR could not recognize.
reCAPTCHA for translation They scan famous, public works. The result is a free book for everyone, made complete by identifying one difficult word at a time!
reCAPTCHA for translation They give you value (security)‏ They take from you value (identify un-OCRed word)‏ And then give back more (the book)‏ While being unobtrusive!
